Today, MGM Resorts International said that it is handling a cybersecurity incident that has affected a number of its systems, including its primary website, online booking, and in-casino amenities including credit card terminals, ATMs, and slot machines.
A cybersecurity vulnerability that was impacting some of the business’s systems was discovered lately by MGM Resorts, the company said on its X profile page (previously known as Twitter).
The business said that as soon as it became aware of the problem, it “took prompt action to protect our systems and data, including shutting down certain systems” and launched an investigation.
