– Primarily affects organizations using Citrix SRA 2411 (released November 2024)
– Home users are unlikely to be affected
– Failed installations will automatically revert to previous Windows versions

Technical Issue:
When attempting to install the updates, affected systems may display an error message: “Something didn’t go as planned. No need to worry – undoing changes”

Temporary Solution:
1. Disable Citrix Session Recording Monitor Service:
– Open Services (services.msc)
– Locate Citrix Session Recording Monitor Service
– Stop the service and set to “Disabled”

2. Install Windows Updates

3. Re-enable the service:
– Set service to “Automatic”
– Restart the service
