In a significant cybersecurity operation dubbed “Operation Talent,” international law enforcement agencies have seized several prominent hacking forums and cybercrime-related domains. The joint action involved authorities from the United States, Italy, Spain, France, Greece, Australia, Romania, and other European nations.
Key Domains Seized:
– Cracked.io
– Nulled.to
– MySellIX.io
– SellIX.io
– StarkRDP.io
These platforms were known hubs for various cybercriminal activities, including:
– Password theft
– Credential stuffing attacks
– Software cracking
– Trading stolen credentials
– Distribution of hacking tools
– Sale of compromised accounts
The FBI has taken control of these domains, replacing their Cloudflare name servers with FBI-controlled servers (ns1.fbi.seized.gov and ns2.fbi.seized.gov). Seizure banners now appear on these sites, stating that “this website, as well as the information on the customers and victims of the website, has been seized by international law enforcement partners.”
Cracked.io staff confirmed the seizure via Telegram, noting they await official court documentation. Europol has acknowledged an ongoing operation, with more details to be released later.
This coordinated law enforcement action appears to target platforms primarily involved in credential stuffing attacks and the trading of stolen account credentials, marking a significant blow to cybercriminal infrastructure.
