OpenAI has recently clarified its model lineup to help users better navigate the various ChatGPT options. In a document titled “ChatGPT Enterprise – Models & Limits,” the company provides guidance on when to use each model, applicable to both enterprise and regular users.

## Current ChatGPT Models

ChatGPT currently offers five models: GPT-4o, o3, o4-mini, o4-mini-high, and GPT-4.5.

### GPT-4o vs. GPT-4.5

**GPT-4o (Omni Model)**
– Best for: Summarizing content, brainstorming ideas, and drafting emails
– Features: Real-time information, multimodal capabilities
– Supports: Custom GPTs, image generation, canvas, advanced audio, and data analysis

**GPT-4.5**
– Best for: Creative tasks requiring emotional intelligence
– Strengths: Enhanced communication and creative brainstorming
– Similar to GPT-4o but with greater creative capabilities

### Choosing Between o4-mini, o4-mini-high, and o3

**o4-mini**
– Best for: Quick technical tasks
